Mapei Planiseal MSP
A two-coat, high-solids, polymer-based adhesive isolator, sealer, moisture-control membrane, and self-leveling primer are all components of Planiseal MSP. With moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 15 lbs. (6.80 kg) per ASTM F1869, relative humidity (RH) up to 99% per ASTM F2170, and alkalinity protection up to pH 12, Planiseal MSP safeguards flooring installations against subfloor moisture and pH in concrete slabs.

Suitable Substrates
- Concrete on or above grade at least 14 days old and absorbent. A concrete substrate has to have some open porosity and a concrete surface profile.
- Asphalt cutback adhesive and carpet adhesive residue that has been entirely scraped to the flooring and has left just tiny stains.
- Concrete terrazzo
- Cement-based, self-leveling underlayments and patching compounds that are exterior-rated
- Exterior-grade plywood, Group 1 CC type; additional authorized wood underlayments (on the advice of the flooring producer) solely as sealer/primer. The moisture-controlling capabilities of Planiseal MSP do not apply to wood underlayments.
